Safety of our passengers and employees are of the utmost importance. We will be following safety guidelines and also ask our customers to please do their part to ensure their own and other's safety and well being.


Health check

Dear passengers,

As we all are going through this difficult and uncertain time of COVID-19 pandemic, life has certainly changed for the majority of our community. Even for KCTI, it is in no way business as usual, we do still have buses coming and going, and we are required to maintain the operation in support of the movement of passengers. We are doing that with a fantastic corps of essential employees who continue to work as drivers and those who are support for the operation from a distance. We extend our thanks to everyone who has modified their way and/or place of work.

Now through this unprecedented period the safety of our passengers and employees are of the utmost importance. So KCTI will present a checklist (Health Check consists of a few questions and visual observation) to the passengers that prompts them to confirm that they have not been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the past 21 days and that they haven't had symptoms over the last two weeks such as a temperature of more than 100.4 degrees, a cough, chills, muscle aches or a sore throat.

As a reminder, no person should board the bus when they are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms.

Based on a recommendation from Transport Canada, during the voyage, you should wear a face covering that covers your mouth and nose in situations where you cannot maintain two metres of physical separation.

If the driver observes that any of the passengers has COVID-19 symptoms or that their response to any of the questions on the health check indicates a need to deny boarding, the driver can refuse to board the person for travel.


1. Do you have a fever and a cough?

2. Do you have a fever and breathing difficulty?

3. Have you been refused boarding in the past 14 days by a company or any other carrier due to a medical reason related to COVID-19?

4. Are you currently under mandatory quarantine, as a result of recent travel or by orders from the provincial, territorial or local public health authorities? If YES, has a federal, provincial or territorial health authority given you explicit permission to continue your onward journey by bus to reach your self-isolation location?


NO traveller, who is symptomatic of COVID-19 will be allowed to board.
Please declare voluntarily if you are symptomatic to COVID-19
No person should provide answers to the health check or questions in a way that they know to be false or misleading.
